There are so many things I want to do if only I had step—by—step, simple to follow instructions for how to do them. Well, I no longer have an excuse since I found Instructables. This colorful, navigable website features easy instructions about how to just about anything you can possible imagine.

Did you want to prepare ravioli with lobster sauce for a romantic dinner for two? Learn how to make it happen at Instructables. Are you perspiring on a hot summer day and want to make your own $10, 12—volt portable air conditioner to cool down? Get instructions on how to do it at Instructables. I was amazed the the variety of step—by—step instruction entries at Instructables, with categories such as art, crafts, food, home, life and technology. No matter what do it yourself project you dream of, you can find instructions at this cool website.

If you don’t find instructions, you can submit your own entry to Instructables by creating a free account. Free account members also get to comment on the “instructables” created by other people and participate in the community forums.

Another fun part of Instructables are the contests, such as the iRobot Create Challenge and the Holiday Recipe Contest. Contest winners have the opportunity to win great prizes and cash for their instructables.

The next time I don’t know how to do something, I am going to check out Instructables to get step—by—step instructions that are easy to find and easy to follow.
