Currently, wikiHow contains 24,618 articles and new articles are created everyday to tell people how to solve problems that occur in their everyday existence. Volunteer contributors can post their own articles and edit pages started by someone else to improve the content.

At the wikiHow website, anyone can write and anyone can edit. Although most of wikiHow is only available in English, slowly Spanish, Portuguese, French and German wikiHows are being built. wikiHow discourages criticism of other contributors and expects helpful instructions. When you contribute to wikiHow, you can include a promotional link but it must be part of offering useful content. If an article you submit to wikiHow reeks of self—promotion, it will be deleted.
