Digital Photos – Finally Share and Organize Them at Flickr
Digital cameras make it easier than ever to shoot lots of photos because the film doesn’t run out. As a result, we often have hundreds of digital photos in no particular order. At Flickr, you can find online resources to help you store, share and organize your digital photos.
The Flickr website is powered by Yahoo and available in multiple languages such as English, French, Spanish, Dutch and Italian. With a free Flickr account, you can store 100 MB worth of photos each month. If you want to have unlimited storage capacity, you can upgrade to paid Pro Account status with Flickr.
Basically, Flickr addresses two common problems with digital photos – sharing them and organizing them. You can share photos at Flickr securely and privately with certain friends or family members or you can choose to share your photos with anyone the world. You can download photos from the web, mobile devices, home computers and any software you may be using to manage your digital photos.
The second issue Flickr deals with is the organization of your digital photos by helping you to find new ways to put them in order. There is an option to give permission to certain friends, family and other contacts to organize your photos by adding comments, tags and notes.
Because I am always trying to find new ways to organize the many digital photos I take, I found that Flickr offers a secure, simple to use service to keep track of your treasured pictures as well as view photos taken by other people.
